LA Commons Call for Lead Mural Artist and Associate Artist: 2025 Fremont Healthy Culture Hub Youth Arts Project

LA Commons is searching for 1 lead artist and 1 associate artist to work with a core Youth Arts Team (Age 15-25) to collect community stories, and to design a mural arts large scale fence installation for the Fremont Healthy Culture Hub in the heart of South Central LA area that shares local stories and creates visual impact to support efforts to illuminate and activate the space which includes community gardens, orchard, greenhouse, and health and dental clinics.

LA Commons Call for Lead Artist and Associate Artist: 2025 EXPO/USC Good Neighbors Youth Arts Project

LA Commons is searching for 1 lead artist and 1 associate artist to work with a core Youth Arts Team (Age 15-25) to collectcommunity stories, and to design a sustainability focused outdoor artwork for the EXPO/USC, South Central LA area thatshares the stories connected to trees and food justice. The artists will lead a team of youth artists who also receive a stipend fortheir work. LA Commons will coordinate project partners, supply acquisition, workshop space and recruiting the Youth Artsteam. The team will contribute to ongoing efforts to amplify cultural approaches to addressing climate change - particularlyfocused on tree cover and food justice initiatives. Workshops will take place weekly at the Expo Center in Exposition Park

LA Commons is searching for 1 lead artist and 1 associate artist to work with a core Youth Arts Team (Age 15-25) to collect community stories, and to design a Stop the Hate mural for the newly renovated UCLA James Lawson Jr Worker Justice Center from MacArthur Park.
