This Summer, Cultural Treasures of South LA partnered with Grand Performances to curate two Cultural Treasures Markets as it returned for its 38th season, bringing free all-ages outdoor performances to DTLA from June to August 2024.
With an emphasis on circulating dollars within the South LA community through uplifting its small businesses, artisans, and artists, The Cultural Treasures Market creates a space for unique South LA vendors to market their wares, and connect with the South LA community and those outside of it.
During these past two markets, Businesses we uplifted include: All Chill Hip Hop Ice Cream Shop, Café Calle, Crenshaw Juice Co., Donaji Oaxacan Crafts, Kafou Alkaline, Mothersun Records, Rincon Hondureño, and Taste of Vegan.
From Ice Cream to Oaxacan Crafts, to Classic Records, we had two nights filled with delicious food, live music, local vendors, and community.
